If you’ve ever heard your parents or yourself say, “don’t play with your food” here is something that just might change your mind
As today is Thanksgiving here in the US and many families gather around to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast (aka a lot of food) I thought that this might be a fun look at food with a totally different perspective!
Paul sent these out this morning to members of his “How To Draw Online” course and they made me smile – I hope they do the same for you!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Love,

I hope these pictures inspire you for the holiday. Amazing what some artists can do with food.
In some of these the foods used are obvious, in others you have to think about them a little. For instance in the 1st photo – water is probably smoked salmon, rocks are potatoes, islands are bread, trees look to be dill or fennel fronds, shore rocks are coffee beans, sand is rock salt, etc. It’s amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it.|All the scenes have been created entirely with food!

Tonight I’m here at Ali’s birthday bash (the Ezine Queen) where all of the proceeds are going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The party is aboard a ship and as I was standing here looking over the back at the water you could see the slight churning but the was no real sense of movement – until I looked at the horizon.
I think life is like that – a lot.
When we’re. doing our purpose – we’re in the moment and we may not see or feel the progress…but it’s there.
Just keep your eyes on the horizon, stay the course and you WILL arrive at your destination.
Remember – when you are doing your HEARTWORK it will never become hardwork.

So the last 36 hours have been very hectic with the meetings and the radio show – - actually the better choice here is to say that it’s been busy and I’m thankful that I have a purpose to be doing something in this world.
Today the butterflies are back as I’ve been sitting here updating the dream blog and working on understanding how this whole blog process works and what I want from it. For those folks that join me on this journey (I would love to hear from you) I’ve gotten feedback on how this should look and the truth is that this is to let you see into my soul. To share with you – and myself – what it going on and to be open and naked, if you will, with respect to the work that I do. As I speak and coach I know what the possibilities are and I know many of the challenges from first hand experience. I know that we have skeletons and we’d like to bury them – ah
but the passion is that in burying them we create the pain that keeps us from reaching the top of the mountain and having the power to yodel with the best of them.
Passion is what drives me to be the best – to be the best example. There is a poem that says something to the effect that, children may not remember what you say but they will always remember what you do. I believe that it’s more than that – it’s that the “doing” is a reflection of our “being” and that is the key. I also think that is true for people the world over – not just children. I believe it’s just easier to look at things from a childs perspective than it is to accept that we are the children.
If there is something that I feel I may not have a choice in – and it comes with an “if” statement – it’s that if I am going to be the “best” me that I can and do the work I was sent here to do – then I have no choice but to BE, be the example not just the speaker or the one caught up in the “doing”. It’s like the concept that we must “do” to “have” so we can “be” and the truth is that we must first “be” before the rest of our lives will fall into place. And please – I’m talking about the whole person not just a slice of our lives.
If you want to see more into all of this I have a concurrant blog called reflections on dreaming.
Make it a beautiful day and enjoy the butterflies in your life!
